lego

So yesterday I finally finised my “fullsize” Lego model of the new Richmond VA Temple (not completed at the time of this writing). This is just a model and not actually built. It currently takes 5913 lego bricks and would stand at 4 feet 2 inches tall. Based on some preliminary calculations (on BrickOwl ) it would cost over $2700 USD to buy all the peices (if you could find them).

Today I stopped working on my large Temple project (more to come on that later) to do a one-day mini temple project of the yet-to-be-completed Richmond VA Temple (<– as of this writing, that link as a picture of what it is supposed to look like when completed). I think it came out pretty well. I can think of a million ways it could be better…but I’m not a professional lego desiger by any stretch of the imagnigation.
